As the Chief of Staff of the A-rated School District of Palm Beach County, Jay Boggess works as a collaborative strategic partner with the Superintendent and executive administration. He directly oversees numerous departments including: Communications and Engagement, Labor Relations, Legislative Affairs, School District Police, and Strategic Management. Because of the breadth of his responsibilities, Mr. Boggess’s decisions impact virtually all 23,000 District employees
Prior to serving as Chief of Staff of the nation’s tenth largest school district, Mr. Boggess supported students as Assistant Superintendent for the Division of Choice and Innovation. This career educator has also empowered students through his roles as principal, assistant principal, and teacher
Mr. Boggess considers it an honor to fulfill the District’s Mission of educating, affirming, and inspiring the District’s nearly 170,000 students.
He earned a bachelor’s of Art degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Masters of Education from Florida Atlantic University.
Mr. Boggess is a devout family man. He and his wife have five beautiful children who are being educated in the Palm Beach County School District.
